But Mom, I'm Scared | Children's Book
The white puppy’s cage was hard and dark. But it was safe.
Nobody can see me if I curl up back here, she said to herself. She was right. People walked by without even glancing in her cage. All the other puppies were jumping up against the bars on their cages and yipping loudly. As badly as the puppy wanted someone to take her home and make her a pet, she couldn’t bring herself to come to the front of her cage to meet anyone who would do that.
But Mom, I'm Scared is the true story of Sasha, my White German Shepherd Dog, and how she overcame her fears to help other pets in trouble.
Project two
The Adventures of Jiggers and his Magic Carpet | Children's Book Series
In an old house not far from here, there lived a little white terrier with black and brown spots. His name was Jiggers. Jiggers had a habit of exploring at night after his people had gone to sleep. During some of his explorations, Jiggers found an old hand mirror, a silver spoon, and a cobwebby passage into a secret space behind the wall. Jiggers wanted to explore the secret space, but the cobwebs were kind of gross and the secret space was a little scary. He would never admit that he was scared of anything except the vacuum cleaner, but that dark place was almost as bad.
The Adventures of Jiggers and his Magic Carpet - Books Two and Three
Follow Jiggers and his magic carpet as they travel to Okinawa, Japan to meet some of the people who live there and enjoy a couple of adventures along the way. In book three, the friends find the magic carpet's home, and explore the Middle East.
